Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
For California residents. Effective May 10, 2026.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them with respect to BirthDoulaTrainer.com.
Whether I sell or share your personal information
I do not sell your personal information. I do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. I do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of anyone under sixteen years of age.
I do use service providers (such as Airtable, my email host, and my web host) to operate this site and respond to your inquiries. Under California law, this routine processing by service providers is not considered a sale or sharing of your personal information.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what categories of personal information I collect, the sources of that information, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties (if any) I share it with.
- Access the specific pieces of personal information I have collected about you in the prior twelve months.
- Correct inaccurate personal information I have about you.
- Delete personal information I have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. (As stated above, I do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right itself is available to you.)
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. I do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what you voluntarily share in your project brief.
- Non-discrimination. I will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
How to make a request
To exercise any of the rights listed above, email robin@robineliseweiss.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” Tell me which right you are exercising. I will respond within forty-five days as required by California law. If I need additional time, I will notify you.
Verification
I may need to verify your identity before responding to your request. This usually means matching the information in your request to information I already have on file (such as the email address you used to submit a project brief). I will not ask you to create an account or provide identifying information beyond what is necessary to verify the request.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written permission from you and must verify their own identity. Email me at the address above and I will walk you through the authorized agent process.
More information
For the full list of categories of personal information I collect, how I use it, and how long I retain it, see the Privacy Policy.
